AC outlet not working, but the USB ports still work.
If only the AC is not working, it is more than likely due to a blown fuse and can easily be fixed by replacing it with the spare fuse it comes with.
USB ports not working, but AC outlet still work.
If the USB ports are not working, it may be a defective unit. Please contact us for a refund or replacement.
AC outlet does not work
Please find the fuse compartment labeled “spare & fuse” at the plug side and pry it open. The horizontal fuse within the cap is the broken fuse. Push it out and replace it with the vertical spare one. Align the fuse with the two metal arms and push the cap back in.
If the AC outlet still doesn't work after replacing the fuse, please contact us.

Can the adapter convert voltage?
No, our adapter is not a voltage converter. Its purpose is only to allow your devices to plug into local sockets. Therefore, before using it in a country with a different voltage, please check if your device is dual voltage, and avoid using high-power products.
How do I know what type of sockets are used in the country I'm going to?
First, you can click the link, and choose your destination, and the bottom will display the local socket types and voltage. Except for D and M type sockets, all other types can be used with local sockets. If the voltage in the destination country is different from your home country, please check if the product you want to use locally is dual voltage (labeled as "100-240V, 50/60Hz"). If it is, then in most cases it can be used, otherwise, it cannot be used in places with different voltages. If in doubt, please send the specs to us and we will let you know if they will work or not.
How to choose the adapter suitable for you?

One of the items that we need to power is our hair dryer - is there a way to test it to see if it will work? We are not in Europe yet, but if it works in an outlet here, should it work there?
We do not recommend attempting to test the adapter with high-power products. If you plan to use high-power electrical appliances such as hair dryers or electric kettles, this adapter may not meet your needs. These devices require a high-power output that exceeds the adapter's capacity and may cause the adapter to be damaged or the device to malfunction.
The AC plug holes on the front are blocked by plastic inside the unit. Is this normal, and if so, why are they there? Did I receive a defective unit?
This plastic inside is normal. It is called “safety shutter” that prevents accidental insertion of objects other than plugs into the socket holes. It can only be opened by pressing down two pins simultaneously and firmly. The continental EU 2-prong plug has a flexible and converged shape, so it might seem won’t fit at first and you need to push harder and make it work - I understand that it can be annoying, but after the first time, the shutter will perform much smoother.
